Mary Lynn Wallace (clark)

Mary Lynn (Clark) Wallace, age 61, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2014, with her family at her side, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Louisville, KY, Mary Lynn was a resident of Morrisville for the past 30 years.Mrs. Wallace was a graduate of Ursaline Academy in Louisville, class of 1971. Throughout her life, Mary Lynn was a beacon of strength who continuously showed unselfish support to her family and friends. At a young age, Mary Lynn moved in with her older brother, Bill and his wife Rosie , she met her future husband at that time and they and his entire family became lifelong friends. She made lifelong friends at her employment at Clover and Kohl's Department Stores where she worked as a sales manager for over fifteen years. Mary Lynn loved the beach and vacationing with her family. She enjoyed reading, chocolates and baking, especially cookies. God needs many angels and has shown us that we have some of the best choices.She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Gilbert and Catherine Louise (Fravert) Clark, her brother, William Clark and her sister Margie Thomas. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael L. Wallace, her loving daughter Lisa M. Wallace of Levittown, PA, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 8 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Deacon Michael Scannella will officiate. Friends may come Wednesday evening from 7-8 PM at the funeral chapel.An additional service will be held at 7 PM on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at the Schoppenhorst-Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 North Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY, where friends are invited to call from 6 PM until service time.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mary Lynn's name be made to the ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Foundation, The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
