Mary Nora Wolfram (elder)

Mary Lou (Elder) Wolfram, age 81, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Morrisville Presbyterian Towers, Morrisville, PA, her residence for the past seven months. Born in Pittsburgh, Mary Lou was a lifelong Pittsburgh before her recent move to Morrisville, PA. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Wolfram was employed as an account clerk with the Pittsburgh Public School System, for more than 25 years. As a member of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, Mary Lou sang in the choir and relished her outings with the active Young Adult Group. Her adventures took her rafting in the Grand Canyon and cruising to Alaska. Some of her favorite activities included bowling, and power walking in The Great Race, where she usually placed in the top of her bracket. Marylou was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the Bible. She cherished the time spent volunteering to read to elementary school children. Additionally, she was an enthusiastic fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams, and could often be heard cheering, "Git ‘em"Mary Lou is the daughter of the late Lincoln Harrington and Mildred Myra (Kucharski) Elder, and wife of the late Lloyd George Wolfram. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Joan White and Donna Doerr and is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Glen David and Joan Wolfram of Tucson, AZ and Todd Alan and Judith Anne Wolfram of Yardley, PA, five grandchildren Jasha, Erik, Caleb, Hannah, and Josiah Wolfram, and a great grandson Damien Ponce.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 7 PM on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Crossing Community Church, 80 Lower Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. Pastor Tim Smith will officiate.
