Maryann Vaccaro (gillespie)

MaryAnn (Gillespie) Vaccaro, age 70, of Holland, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at her home. Born in Trenton, MaryAnn lived in Hamilton Township, NJ for many years before moving to Holland 9 years ago.Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Bookkeeper with Mancraft Box Co of Tullytown, PA for over 20 years. MaryAnn was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Trenton Elks Lodge, # 105, where she was active on the Crippled Children's Committee. She was an avid reader who loved to bake and listen to country music.Daughter of the late Joseph P. and Jeannette (Conovitz) Gillespie, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Vince and Kathy Vaccaro of Ottsville, PA, a brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Carmen Gillespie of Trenton, NJ, a sister Teresa M. Szekely of Langhorne, 2 grandchildren Shannon (and Jason) Derstine and Vinny Vaccaro, a great granddaughter Gracie Derstine, and 3 nieces, Lynn, Denise, and Stacy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 7 PM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-7 PM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Mrs. Vaccaro's name be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142
