Michael Gary Zeldin, age 68 of Yardley, PA, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2020, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime Yardley resident. An avid train collector, Michael, along with his brother Harvey, started Z & Z Hobbies in 1984. They were located in New Jersey, and moved the store to Fairless Hills five years ago. Although they catered to many hobbies, the main focus was always on model trains. Michael was extremely handy and could fix just about anything.
Son of the late Solomon and Mildred (Remer) Zeldin, Michael is survived by his brother Harvey Zeldin of Buckingham, PA, and two nieces, Carissa and Rachel Zeldin.
Due to pandemic restrictions, the family will be having a small graveside service for Michael on Friday, March 12, for immediate family who are able and willing to attend in a masked, social-distanced fashion. RSVP is required as we are limited to the number of people who can safely attend.
For those unable to join in person, we will have a Zoom option available to virtually attend. Please contact the family for that information.
Arrangments have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
