Michele Ann Smith

Michele Ann Smith, 81, of Morrisville died Sunday March 17, 2024, at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia.

Michele was born in Morristown, NJ to the late Mary and John Smith.  They moved to Philadelphia, and then Bucks County, in the 1950’s. Michele raised three boys on her own in Yardley, PA from the1970’s through the 80’s.  She was an incredibly strong person who could wrap brutal honesty with kindness and caring… a quality everyone loved about her and came to depend on.  Through different challenges in her life, Michele made sure every Christmas and Thanksgiving was perfect for her three boys, and eventually their children.    

She is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Kommer in 2023. She is survived by her three sons, John Marthaler and his wife, Lori, James Marthaler, and Joseph Marthaler; her brother, Kevin Smith and his wife, Jeanie; her four beautiful grandchildren, Hannah, Sean, Sophia, and Sarah Marthaler; along with many other  extended relatives and close friends.

Cremation will be held privately. A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Church, 201 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.
