Obituary of Natalie C. PattersonNatalie Patterson's sweet soul joined a host of family angels on July 20, 2015. As throughout her long life, she was surrounded during her final days by her loving family. She was happy and at peace.Natalie was born in Trenton, NJ on October 11, 1925. She was a graduate of Trenton High School and Rider College. During the course of her career, she was the office manager for the English Department at the College of New Jersey and was an insurance sales representative for Metropolitan Life. After she married Patt Patterson in 1978, her family doubled in size and love. Patt and Natalie had many wonderful years together filled with family, friends and traveling around the world.Daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie (Riley) Carkhuff, wife of the late Richard Knoll and Patt Patterson, sister of the late Robert Carkhuff, and mother of the late Beverly Lane and Ronald Patterson, she is survived by her children Barbara Knoll of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Joseph Knoll and his wife Susan of Yardley, PA, Roxanne Patterson and Cyn Purvins of Doylestown, and Roger Patterson of Newtown, PA. Natalie is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Paiton, Adam Lane, Zachary Knoll, Jacqueline Knoll, Andrew Patterson, Ian Patterson, Ava Patterson, Elleanna Patterson, Ming Wu and Ying Wu, as well as great grandchildren Connor Paiton, Adelle Paiton, Brahm Lane, Carsten Lane and Elden Lane. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Bruce Ballantine, Interim Pastor, and the Rev. Patricia Daley will co-officiate. Interment in Ewing Presbyterian Church Cemetery will be held privately, for family only.Friends may call Saturday morning from 10-11 AM in the church lounge.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Natalie's name be sent to Meals on Wheels, 1382 Newtown Langhorne Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com).
