Nathaniel Lee Fidler, age 75 of Levittown, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday December 1, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1949 in Mississippi, but spent the majority of his life in Pennsylvania.

Nathan’s pursuit of knowledge began at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor's degree, followed by a master’s degree from LaSalle University. His educational accomplishments laid a strong foundation for his fulfilling career and shaped his inquisitive nature.

In addition to his full-time employment as a computer specialist for the State of New Jersey, he was also a scuba instructor and taught computer classes for Gloucester County Community College. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including scuba diving, snow skiing, canoeing, horse-back riding and caving. He was a member of the Wreck Raiders Scuba Club and enjoyed many dives off the New Jersey coast, in Cozumel, the Cayman Islands and in Bonaire. He had a love for animals, including all wild life, as well as his dogs, cats, and pot-bellied pigs.

Nathan is survived by his devoted wife, Elaine Smith Fidler, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his daughters: Athena Rhodes of Texas and Christy DeLorenzo and her husband Nicholas of New Hope, PA. His grandchildren, Peter Harmazinski and his wife Janet, Aiden DeLorenzo, and Ryleigh DeLorenzo, along with his great-grandchildren, John Harmazinski and Michelle Harmazinski, were a source of immense pride and joy in his life. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Zaccarelli, and her husband Emanuel Zaccarelli of Jamesburg, NJ, along with several nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edgar Greene and Bernice Bass, his sister Barbara and his brother Dale. 

Nathan’s life was characterized by his values of hard work and perseverance, his adventurous spirit, and the profound love for his family. His legacy carries on in the cherished memories created with family and friends, reminding us all to embrace life's adventures and the love we share.

His graveside services will be held at a later date in the Ewing Cemetery, NJ, officiated by the Reverend Lisa Keppeler of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, Morrisville, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a memorial contribution, in Mr. Fidler's name, to the Pig Placement Network (www.pigplacementnetwork.org) or to the Bucks County SPCA (www.buckscountyspca.org)

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
