Nona M. Pilotti

Nona M. Pilotti, age 73 of Yardley, PA passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Capitol Health/Hopewell. Born in Scranton, PA, Nona lived in Yardley for the past 45 years.

She was a graduate of W. Scranton High School, Class of 1968 and Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Mercer Medical Center and later Capital Health for over 40 years. Nona was by all accounts a competent, compassionate and caring nurse. In 2007 she was recognized with an “Excellence in Nursing Practice “certificate. 

Nona was artistic with a keen eye for design. She directed the renovation of 5 homes over the years. Married some 53 years to Bob Pilotti, her high school sweetheart; in the early years she lived in Dallas and Louisville before settling in Bucks County.

Nona was an accomplished gourmet cook but her focus was always on her family, friends and of course her grandsons. Christmas was her favorite time if the year. On 2 occasions her home was featured on St Ignatius Holly Tour. 

 Daughter of the late Roy and Carmella (Lamberti) Moser, she is survived by her loving husband Bob, a daughter, Lisa and son-in-law Chris Purdum of Yardley, a son Andrew Pilotti of Levittown, a sister and brother-in-law Cathy and David Watkins of Somerset, NJ and two grandchildren Sam and James Purdum.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 10:30 – 11 AM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM.

Her interment will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery on River Rd. in Yardley.
