Patricia T. DeMaio, a cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and dedicated friend, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Hopewell, NJ. Born on February 10, 1947, in Queens, NY, Patricia made Morrisville her home for over 60 years, cultivating deep-rooted ties within the community.
Patricia's professional journey included significant roles as a sales clerk for both Smoke and Glitter and United Cutrite in Morrisville. She was known not just for her work ethic but also for her warm spirit that touched the lives of many.
Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life, and she devoted her heart to those she adored. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tiffany Owens, and son-in-law, Paul Owens of Trenton, NJ, along with her son, Robert DeMaio of Trenton, NJ. Patricia is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Andrew DeMaio of Trenton, NJ, and her six grandchildren: Reginald T. Cason and his fiancée Waysia Williams, Isiah Cason, Jonasia and Jonelle Grier, Ayanna, and Leila DeMaio. Adding joy to her legacy, Patricia is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Amelia Patel.
Her nurturing personality was evident in her various hobbies and interests; she found joy not only in going to the beach, but in cooking, baking, and gardening but, most importantly, in creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Patricia was truly devoted to her family, ensuring that they felt loved and supported at every turn.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Dominick DeMaio, her mother, Jeanette Magagliano DeMaio, her brother, Rosario DeMaio, and her life partner, Robert Marks, Jr. Their memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved Patricia.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on April 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services located at 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Following the service, Patricia will be interred at Forest Hills, Philadelphia, PA, at 12:30 PM.
