Patricia A. Grunewald

Patricia A. (Gonyon) Grunewald, age 63, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home in Yardley, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Patricia lived in Bethpage, Long Island, NY before moving to Yardley 15 years ago.

Mrs. Grunewald was a parishioner of St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Yardley.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, as well as sewing. She was active in fundraising efforts for pediatric cancer.  Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at their home in the Pocono Mountains.

Daughter of the late Richard Gonyon, and grandmother of the late Bobby Tremendous, she is survived by her loving husband Thomas Grunewald, her mother Eileen (Cunningham) Gonyon, two daughters and a son-in-law Karen Terry of Trinity, FL and Lisa and Frank Sepe of Smithtown, NY, a son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Sarah Grunewald of Hockessin, DE, her adoring grandchildren Shawn, Nicole, Rachel, Dylan, and Evie, eight brothers and sisters and their spouses and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her funeral mass at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 999 Reading Ave., Yardley, PA  19067.  Her entombment will follow at 2 PM, at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.  Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA, as well as on Wednesday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 AM.
