Peter S. Neely

Peter Neely, 41, of Morrisville, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle on July 10, 2016 with his loving wife by his side. Pete is survived by his wife, Melissa Diretto, and his three amazing children Jacob, Dominic, and Gabriella. In addition to his wife and kids, Pete will be greatly missed by his wonderful parents Don and Nancy Diretto, his sister and brother Ken and Elizabeth Keller, his beloved niece and goddaughter Isabella Keller, and his Nonna, Susan Diretto. He is also survived by his mother and step-father Linda and Terry McCaulsky, his father, Peter Neely, his two brothers Keith (Amanda) and Jared Webb and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Although Pete will be sorely missed by anyone who ever knew him, he made sure to live life to the fullest. Peter enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach, fishing with his boys, and cooking and eating delicious food. Everyone who knew Pete knew he was an avid football lover and spent many hours on the field teaching the youth through the Little Bulldogs and Morrisville High School the necessary fundamentals and skills to succeed on the field. He was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1993. Pete was also a die-hard Notre Dame fan who made sure to play like a champion today and everyday. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses from Cancer Treatment Centers, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and University of Penn that fought so hard for him. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral mass at 11 AM on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-9 PM, and on Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W.
