Peter Sereni, Jr.

Peter Sereni, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Morrisville, PA, on April 6 2025, at the age of 78. Born on March 28, 1947, in Trenton, NJ, he dedicated over five decades of his life to the Morrisville community, where he was a familiar and cherished presence.

A proud graduate of Hamilton High East, Class of 1965, Peter spent 33 years serving as an auditor for the State of New Jersey. His meticulous nature and unwavering commitment to his work left a lasting impact on those around him, earning him respect from colleagues and friends alike. He then worked for 5 years as a bus driver for the Pennsbury School District, again showing his dedication to the community in which he lived.

Peter was not only devoted to his professional life; he also embraced a variety of hobbies and interests. He was a member of the Falls Township Rifle and Pistol Association, showcasing his enthusiasm for shooting sports. An all-around handyman, he took great pleasure in woodworking, electrical work, and leathercraft. His skills and creativity found application in various projects, reflecting his passion for craftsmanship.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores A. Sereni; his stepson William E. Vorhies and his spouse Kun Yang Kim, both residing in Irvine, CA; and his cherished granddaughter, Veronica. Peter’s family was the centerpiece of his life, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, Peter Sereni, Sr., and his mother, Dorothy Fanny Sereni, both of whom he held dear in his memory. Though they have departed this world, their love and guidance shaped the man he became.

The legacy of Peter Sereni, Jr. will remain in the hearts of all who knew him—a testament to a life dedicated to family, community, and personal passion. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the warmth, skills, and kindness he shared throughout his life.
