Polizzi Jr. 88, born July 22,1925 of Morrisville, PA, died, Saturday, July 27, 2013 Manor Care, in Yardley, PABorn in Philadelphia, PA Mr. Polizzi has been a Morrisville resident most of his life.Mr. Polizzi was an employee at the Frankford Arsenal for over 21 years. After his retirement from the Frankford Arsenal he was a self-employed watchmaker.Phil was a graduate of the Joseph Bulova School for Watchmaking in Long Island, NY.Most of all Philip loved his family and spending precious time with them.He was an Army Veteran serving during WW II and was a prisoner of war for 7 months; he received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Medal with Two Campaign Stars. He was also a member of the DAV (Disable American Veterans)Son of the late Philip and Rosaria (Livigni) Polizzi and brother of the late Samuel and James Polizzi and Mary Polizzi Rossi, he is survived by two sisters, Jennie Polizzi Hume, of Morrisville, PA; Rose Polizzi Sickler, of Deland, FL; three brothers, Anthony Polizzi and his wife Janet, of Penndel, PA; Paul Polizzi and his wife Jean, of Burlington, NJ; Jerry Polizzi and his wife Ginny, of Morrisville, PA; 19 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated of Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Holy Trinity R. C. Church 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 7 to 9:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of departure for church at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ace., Morrisville, PA .In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067Burial will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:00 PM on August 2, 2013.
