Raymond L. Biscup, Jr., age 76 of Nash, TX passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2022 at Reunion Plaza in Texarkana TX. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Biscup lived in New Jersey before moving to Texas 17 years ago.
He had been employed as an assistant Manager at Walmart. Additionally, he worked for Jantek Industries in Medford, NJ, building storm doors and windows, for 15 years. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, Raymond was a member of American Legion Post #307 in New Jersey and VFW Post #6295 in Evesham Twp., NJ. He enjoyed walking and sitting on his front porch, loved his family and enjoyed helping everyone.
Son of the late Raymond L. and Frances Biscup, Sr., he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Angela Biscup of Media, PA and Jamie and Lynn Bankert of Cherry Hills, NJ, a step daughter Sherry Roseberry of W. Liberty, KY, four sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Al Emmert of Cody, WY, Celia and Floyd Martell of Turnersville, NJ, Beverly Bradshaw and Jim Calhoun of Clementon, NJ and Janice Masters and Russ of Vineland, NJ, five grandchildren Erica, Emily, Erin, Teresa, and Mary, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 from 9-10 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His service will follow at 10 AM, with the Rev. Gary Taylor officiating.
His interment will follow at 11 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Hillcrest Ave., Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Raymond’s name, may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
