Richard P. Musso

Richard P. Musso, age 80, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at Chandler Hall, Newtown, PA. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Musso lived in Trenton, NJ before moving to Morrisville 54 years ago.Prior to his retirement in 1995, Richard was employed as a printer with Hibberts Printing in Trenton for 37 years. He was a proud Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Sabine. He was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post # 317, a member of VFW post # 6393, and the Fairless Hills Elks Lodge # 2023. Richard was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.He enjoyed family vacations at the Jersey shore and in his spare time Richard also liked deep sea fishing, cooking, and gardening.Son of the late Milton Leitch and Mildred Leitch Wiseman, and father of the late Valerie Jean Musso, he is survived by his beloved wife Tillie (Veltri) Musso, a daughter and son in law Mindy and Jeff Bond of Morrisville, 2 sisters Joan Schwartz of Morrisville and Betty Alton of Ewing, NJ, 3 grandchildren Jasmine (and her husband Aaron) Ford, and Jessica and Ryan Bond, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral mass on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, River Rd., Yardley. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 PM, and on Monday morning from 9:10-10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.
