It is with great sadness that the family of Richard N. Montini announces his passing on January
7th, 2022 at 78 years old in Yardley, Pennsylvania. He was born June 21st, 1943 in Aliquippa,
Pennsylvania. Richard attended Edinboro University to become a high school history teacher in
his hometown and then taught for 10+ years until he moved to Yardley, his home since 1976,
where he worked for Amrak until retirement.
Richard was preceded by his daughter, Sandi L. Weisheit (sp. Christopher Weisheit). He is
survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mabel K. Montini, and 3 children; Kimberly A. Montini,
Deborah L. Montini, and Richard J. Montini (sp. Robin Montini). Richard is also survived by 5
grandchildren and 1 great grandchild: Ashley, Brandon, Jesse, Khloe, Meadow, and Alma.
Richard’s favorite hobbies revolved around being outside, surrounded by his family. He was an
expert landscaper and gardener, hobbies he enjoyed sharing with his son, and was happiest
when spending summers with his family at their home pool or down at the beach.
The words written here cannot express how great of a man Richard was and how deeply he will
be missed.
