Robert "Bob" C. Adams, 89 years old, was born in Trenton, NJ July 1933 and passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.
Bob grew up and spent his youth in the city of Trenton. So many happy tales of his youth were light-heartedly retold at family gatherings. With a bicycle and a lot of ambition and determination, Bob started his long time career at the Trenton Times (currently the Times of Trenton) as a young delivery boy. He then remained with the company and finally retired after 49 years in a variety of capacities advancing to a supervisor. Bob moved to Fallsington, PA as a young man. As part of his 60 year residency in Fallsington, Bob raised a healthy family and built a home for them.
Bob enjoyed history, clipping newspaper articles for his family, talking on the phone, decorating his yard, photography, walking in Falls Township Park, bargain shopping and especially the company of his grandchildren. Bob's quick and keen sense of humor, upbeat conversation topics and his contagious smile were hard to miss. He loved spending time with his family and laughed continuously when they all got together.
Son of the late Earl Scotland and Marie Regan Adams; brother of the late John "Jack" and Margaret "Peg" Knock; and brother-in-law of the late Donald Knock. Bob is survived by his children, Susan and David Nicol of Magnolia, DE, Carol and Frank Hrupsa of Harrington, DE and Robert and Lisa Adams of Fairless HIlls, PA; his grandchildren, Lee McClister, Katie and Justin Comegys, John and Jessica McClister, Tracey Fallgren, Thomas Adams and Nicholas Adams; his great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Lane, Reed and Emersyn; as well as several nieces and one nephew.
Even though Bob lived a long gratifying life, he will be greatly missed.
Services for Mr. Adams will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude's
