Robert Thomas Schuler, age 86, of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Schuler has lived in Lower Bucks County for the past 60 years. Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed as a baker with the Bond Baking Company for over 35 years. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the John Billington V.F.W. Post in Levittown. Mr. Schuler had a passion for building model airplanes and boats. He was an avid fan of the Flyers, Phillies, and Eagles. Robert also enjoyed old western movies, the casinos, and bingo. He really loved his granddaughter's dog, Bentley.Son of the late Herman T. and Helen (Sebes) Schuler and husband of the late Marie J. (Pascale) Schuler, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Michael Robert and Kelley Schuler of Lakeland, FL, a daughter and son-in-law Debbie K. and Grant Kiker, Jr. of Fairless Hills, 2 sisters and brothers-in-law Joan and Paul "Uncle Bob" Byrns of Texas and Helene and George Haigh of Levittown, PA, 6 grandchildren Shannon Schuler, Grant Kiker III, Rachael Schuler, Kelly Kiker, and Casey Schuler and Michael Robert Schuler II, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his services on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
