Ronald A. Bonno, age 63 of Trevose, PA passed away suddenly on July 26, 2022 at his home. Born in Trenton, Ron was raised in Morrisville, then lived in Newtown before moving to Trevose 13 years ago. Mr. Bonno was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, and attended Rider University as well as Penn State University. He was employed as a restaurant manager at Goodnoe’s Restaurant in Newtown, and then went on to work for several years with the I.R.S.
Ron loved to play all kinds of video games and was a music enthusiast, enjoying the Blues and Jazz, but by far his favorite artist was Bruce Springsteen. Blessed with an incredible wit, a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and a heart of gold, he relished in spoiling his nieces and nephews.
Son of the late Ronald A. Bonno Sr. and Joanne Mullowney Avery, husband of the late Gale (Cohen) Bonno and step-son of the late Burdette Avery, he is survived by his fiancé Constance Belcastro, his step-mother Christine Walch Bonno, two sisters and a brother-in-law Bonnie Avery of Memphis TN and Connie Avery (Ben Thoele) of Memphis, TN, a brother and sister-in-law Chip and Charissa Avery of Jefferson City, TN, three nieces and two nephews, Mallory, Becca and Benny Avery and Lucy and Oscar Thoele, as well as several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067, where friends may gather between 9:30 and 11 AM.
His interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Ron’s name, may be made to the Women’s Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020 (www.womensanimalcenter.org).
