Ronald M. Martino, age 71 of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his home, with his family by his side.  Born in Great Kills, New York, Mr. Martino was a resident of Fairless Hills for the past 32 years.

Ron was a proud Army veteran, attaining the rank of sergeant, serving in Vietnam, and receiving, among other awards, the Purple Heart and the Silver Star.  He was a member of both the VFW and American Legion while he was in Staten Island.  Mr. Martino was an avid NY sports fan & enjoyed trips to the casinos, but most of all loved the times spent with his family, especially the grandkids.

Son of the late Angelo and Frances (Tricorico) Martino, and father-in-law of the late Walter Sieger, he is survived by his loving and caring wife of 47 years Catherine (Kluth) Martino, a son and daughter-in-law Ronald M. and Pamela Martino of Yardley, a daughter Keri Sieger of Fairless Hills, a brother Robert Martino of Pleasant Valley, NY, a sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Carl Jacobsen of Staten Island, NY, two grandsons Jake and Nicholas Sieger, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 9:45 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  The Rev. Scott Mitchell will officiate.  His interment, with military honors, will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM, and again on Monday morning from 8:45 - 9:45 AM at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions, in Ron's name, be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association (www.apdaparkinson.org).
