Ruth D. Broomfield (davis)

Ruth D. Broomfield, age 93, of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Chandler Hall in Newtown. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident. Ruth was a graduate of Morrisville High School, as well as a 50-year member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church. An avid reader, she loved cardinals and collecting Hummel figurines. Mrs. Broomfield was the pillar of the neighborhood. An animal lover she was always feeding the neighborhood dogs and cats.Daughter of the late Clifford and Viola (Eastham) Davis, and wife of the late Kenneth D. Broomfield, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Lila Broomfield of Ewing, NJ, two grandchildren and their spouses Derek and Danielle Broomfield and Tina and Mike O'Donnell, and four great grandchildren Brielle, Shane, and Lexi O'Donnell and Chase Broomfield.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Rachel Rhodes, Pastor of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
