Ruth A. (Laske) Ogden

Ruth A. (Laske) Odgen, age 91 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Parker, Landing Lane in Piscataway, NJ. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Odgen lived in Yardville, NJ prior to moving to Morrisville 40 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Ruth worked for the State of New Jersey for over 25 years. An avid reader and local history buff, she had a keen interest in art and was fond of antiquing. Daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Udisky) Laske and wife of the late Stanley Snook and George Odgen, Jr., she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Thomas C. and Patricia Snook of Wickliffe, OH, a daughter and son-in-law Debra and Richard Sivo of Piscataway, NJ, and 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son David Wellington Snook this past June 2022. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Friends may gather from 9:30 AM until service time. Private interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Ruth’s name, may be made to the Morrisville Historical Society at Summerseat, 130 Legion Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.
