Samuel Mourre-Ruiz

Samuel Mourre-Ruiz a beloved husband, father, and artist, passed away on March 11, 2025, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He was born on March 26, 1950, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he spent his early years before embarking on a life journey that led him to the United States.

For two decades, Samuel devoted his career to working as a welder for Waste Gas Steel Fabrication in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. His craftsmanship and work ethic were a testament to the dedication he brought to his profession, earning him respect from colleagues and friends alike.

From 1982 until 1998, Samuel resided in Staten Island, New York, before moving to Morrisville, Pennsylvania, where he spent the last 27 years of his life. Morrisville became not only his home but a place filled with cherished memories of family and friends.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Samuel was an avid hobbyist with a passion for building and flying remote control airplanes. His creative spirit also flourished through painting with acrylics, particularly landscapes, and he enjoyed drawing and sketching, which brought him joy and fulfillment.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lourdes Robalino Mourre, and his children: Danny Mourre and Kenny Mourre, both of Morrisville, and Samuel Mauricio Mourre, Jacqueline Mourre and Mitchel Mourre, of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Samuel also leaves behind a large extended family that includes many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, numerous grandchildren, and two cherished great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Mourre and Juana Isabel Ruiz-Nieves Mourre, who shaped his character and values throughout his life.

Samuel's life will be honored during a Visitation and Celebration of Life at 11 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 41 W. Trenton Avenue in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are invited to gather for these moments of remembrance and farewell starting at 10 AM.

His legacy of love, creativity, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Samuel Mourre-Ruiz will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered as a remarkable individual whose life touched many.
