Scott Brian "Pappy" Papszycki

Scott “Pappy” Brian Papszycki, age 66 of Morrisville, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, he lived Ewing Township before moving to Morrisville 37 years ago.

Scott was last employed as a driver with First Transit of Ewing Twp., NJ for 13 years.  He was a graduate of Ewing High School class of 1974, where he enjoyed playing baseball and football. While in school he led the Ewing All Stars baseball team to the Babe Ruth’s World Series Championship in Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1972. Scott developed a love for cooking at a very young age which remained a passion of his. Prior to becoming a driver Scott owned Pappy’s Deli and Hoagie, and Larry’s Corner Tavern, he also cooked, bartended, and managed at various locations. He was a member of the Fairless Hills Elks Lodge and the American Legion Post 414 in Lawrence Twp., NJ.  Scott rooted for all Philly sports teams, especially the Eagles. He enjoyed socializing with his friends at the Morrisville Tavern, sitting on his back porch playing word games and trivia on his tablet, and keeping his Grand-Doggie Gravee happy and spoiled, as he loved all animals.

Son of the late Anthony Robert Papszycki and Kyleen (White) Kennett, he is survived by his wife Bonnie V. (Mohacsi) Papszycki, their two sons Shaun R. Papszycki (husband Theodore Vinson) and Kevin S. Papszycki all of Morrisville, (Grandchildren Jorge, JoAnna, and Derek Vinson, of Philadelphia, Pa, Great Grandchildren Kal-el, Lailie-Jade, and Aurora), two sisters Dawn Usera of Bristol, PA, and Alicia Saintz (husband Brian) of Bordentown, NJ, and a host of family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Monday, June 26th, 2023 at 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Interment will be private.

Family and friends may gather at the chapel from 9:30 – 11 AM.

Memorial contributions, in Scott’s name, may be made to The Woman’s Humane Society on Richlieu Rd Bensalem, PA or The American Cancer Society.
