Shirley G. May

Shirley G. May, age 93 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Crestview Center in Langhorne, PA.  Born in Fallsington, PA, Shirley has lived in Morrisville for the past 70 years.

Mrs. May was a longtime member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered her time working in the clothing center.  She was a member of the Neshaminy Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star # 374, Yardley VFW Post # 6393 and a life member of the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post # 317 in Yardley.  Shirley enjoyed sewing both by hand and using a sewing machine, and made many of her own outfits.  She was also fond of reading and painting.

Daughter of the late Clarence and Carolyn (Jesson) Brewer, mother of the late William May III and wife of the late William May, Jr., she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Susan May of Morrisville, two grandchildren William A. May and Christopher Elliott and several nieces and nephews.

Her graveside service in Morrisville Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
