Stanley C. Lozowski, a devoted family man and esteemed airline pilot, departed this life on September 17, 2024, at his home in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Born on March 28, 1936, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Stanley's journey through life was characterized by both remarkable accomplishments and a deep commitment to his loved ones.In a distinguished career spanning three decades, Stanley was employed as an airline pilot with Pan American Airlines and United Airlines. His dedication to aviation was paralleled only by his commitment to service, as he was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. During the tumultuous period of the Vietnam War, he attended the Air Force Flying School, obtaining his coveted pilot training, which would later serve him and the thousands of passengers he flew with ingenuity and grace.A person of warmth and kindness, Stanley was known for being a handyman who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Despite his adventurous profession, he cherished the quiet comforts of home, finding joy in the simple pleasures of reading, solving crossword puzzles, and playing golf.Stanley's legacy endures through his beloved family, which includes his devoted wife, Mary Ann (Kronenberger) Lozowski, and their children: Stephen and Michelle; David and Brenda; John and Marie; Thomas and Cheryl; Kathleen and Chuck. He cherished his role as a grandfather to thirteen grandchildren and delighted in his four great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his good friend Bill Kianka. Stanley is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Lozowski, and his mother, Sophia Sas Lozowski, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.Friends and family are invited to honor his memory during the visitation at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067 on September 21, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 AM. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will be held at Newtown Cemetery at 12:00 PM.Stanley C. Lozowski leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and cherished memories that will resonate within the hearts of those he touched.
