Stephen P. Brill, age 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016at his home in Morrisville. Born in Waterbury, CT, Stephen lived in Philadelphia and in Bensalem before moving to Morrisville 38 years ago.He was a big fan of Philadelphia, its history, neighborhoods, and its sports, cultural and political figures. He followed the city and its personalities by newspaper, radio and television. He also liked to read books about medicine, to play golf, and to attend family events. Steven was the first recipient of the Boy Of The Year Award of the Torresdale Boys Club where he was a standout, youth-league football player. He later was a running back for the Father Judge High School and Lincoln High School football teams. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Morrisville.Son of the late Frank J. Brill, Sr. and Margaret Mary (Owens) Brill, he issurvived by 5 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law, Frank J. Brill, Jr. of Yardley,Martin J. and Linda Brill of Newtown, Christopher J. Brill and Gina Togniniof Newtown, Timothy P. Brill of Morrisville, and Michael V. and Lisa Brillof Buckingham, PA. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral mass at 11 AM onMonday, Oct. 10, 2016 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N.Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in the parishcemetery.Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 PM, and on Monday morning from 9:30- 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W.
