She was known as the “best baker ever”, with her specialties being Spritzgebaeck cookies, Zimtsterne (Cinnamon Stars), and apple pie. An avid gardener, she was very fond of solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku, watching English comedies and mysteries, and listening to classical music.
