Thomas A. Finley, age 58 of Morrisville, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Bristol, PA, Tom was a lifelong Morrisville resident.
Tom graduated from Holy Trinity School and was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1980. He then attended Lock Haven University and has been employed as a welder with Allentown Caging Company in Allentown, NJ for the past 25 years.
Tom always had a wonderful smile and had the unique ability to make everyone around him laugh. He was an avid fisherman, loved to read, and was a die-hard fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, rooting the hardest for his Eagles. His interests were varied, as he enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and traveling.
Son of the late Leo D. and Mary Anne (Rigney) Finley, and brother of the late Denise Barker and Leo and Christopher Finley, Tom is survived by a brother and sister-in-law James J. And Suzanne Finley of Morrisville, four sisters and a brother-in-law Siena and Wilford Scott of Annapolis, MD, Donna Vollmer of Hollywood, MD, Lisa Walbridge (and fiancé Brad Sine) of Morrisville, Mary Jo Conley (and fiancé William Quill) of Yardley, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to join in his life celebration to be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. (Services will be livestreamed on this website).
Visitation will be from 11 AM-12 Noon at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Tom’s name, may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
