Thomas John Ryan

Thomas John Ryan, age 69, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Ryan has lived in Yardley for over 35 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a systems analyst for PECO for over 30 years. A proud Army Veteran, Mr. Ryan was a member of the Yardley V.F.W. He was a former member of Holy Child Church in Philadelphia, and currently attended St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Yardley. Mr. Ryan was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and a longtime basketball coach at several area high schools. Most of all, he loved his kids and grandchildren.Son of the late Walter and Marie (Maloney) Ryan, and husband of the late Elaine (Kulish) Ryan, he is survived by 4 children, Sean T. and Jennifer Ryan of Bensalem, Meghan E. Ryan of Morrisville, Kevin Michael and Catherine Ryan of Bensalem, and Thomas W. "T.R." Ryan of Morrisville, 2 sisters, Donna Ryan of Bristol and Pat Ryan of California, and 4 grandchildren, Connor and Braden Ryan and Jaxon and Kayla Ryan.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10 AM on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM, and on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Mr. Ryan's name, be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
