Thomas Robert Wilson

February 24, 1939 — October 10, 2018

Thomas (Tom) Robert Wilson, age 79, of Morrisville, PA, died on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Cleveland, OH, he had been a resident of Morrisville for over 60 years.

Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a production planner with U.S. Steel for 39 years.  He was also the owner of TRW Painting and Papering for many years.  Mr. Wilson was a former member of both the Woodside Presbyterian Church and the Morrisville Presbyterian Church.  A proud Air Force Veteran, he was a member of the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post # 317 in Yardley, PA.  Tom was a volunteer for ReStore/Habitat for Humanity, as well as a volunteer at area homeless shelters.  An avid fisherman, he was very skilled in carpentry, painting and wallpapering.

Son of the late Walter and Helen (Mulcrome) Wilson, he is survived by his wife Anita (Oleyer) Wilson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dean Wilson of Merchantville, NJ and Darren and Shelley Wilson of Yardley, PA; a sister Mary Hall of Cleveland OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his committal service with military honors at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA  18940.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Mr. Wilson’s name, be made to Habitat For Humanity, www.habitatbucks.org, or to Popcorn Park Rescue Zoo at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ,  08731 (www.ahscares.org).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
