Tyrone Timmolus "Cowboy" Deans, age 70 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at Vitas Hospital in Nazareth Hospital, Phila., PA. Mr. Deans was born in Philadelphia and lived in Jersey City, NJ for 35 years before returning to Philadelphia one year ago.
He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. His friends and family knew him as "Cowboy" as he enjoyed collecting a variety of cowboy hats. Tyrone also collected figurines, toys, watches and jewelry. Mr. Dean loved a wide variety of music, and was an extremely generous and giving individual.
Son of the late Joseph and Monte Deans, he is survived by his wife Aggie (Hill) Deans, three children Helen & Anthony of Albemarle, NC and Delia, two step children Doris Yates of Brooklyn, NY and Diane Richardson Evans of Queens, NY, a brother Joseph Deans of Albemarle, NC, several grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12:15 PM on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His commital service will follow at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
Friends may gather to greet the family Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral chapel.
