Virginia D. Ashmore

Virginia D. Ashmore, age 96 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Promedica in Lower Makefield Twp., PA.  She was born in, and a longtime resident of, Morrisville, PA.

Virginia attended the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed gardening, reading and needlework.  She also enjoyed baking and cooking, insisting that everyone had more than enough to eat.

Daughter of the late William and Florence (Syers) Fredericks, wife of the late John E. Ashmore, Sr., mother of the late Mary Lou Klein and John E. Ashmore, Jr., and grandmother of the late Heather Ashmore, she is survived by three grandchildren, Melissa (Stephen) Racz, Amy (James) Gothard and Sherry (Jason) Buffkin, a son-in-law Gus Klein, as well as several great grandchildren.

Her graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Morrisville Cemetery.
