Virginia J (McClurg) Murray

Virginia J. Murray, age 81, of Willingboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Brunswick at Attleboro, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Murray had lived in Willingboro for the past 56 years.

Virginia was an avid bridge player, belonging to several bridge clubs.  She loved to bowl and play tennis.  Additionally, Mrs. Murray enjoyed cross stitch, sewing and painting.  A nature lover, she enjoyed birds and gardening.

Daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Jane (Barlow) McClurg, wife of the late Richard Murray, and sister of the late Margaret Minnich, Virginia is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Jane Murray of Westfield, NJ and Ed Murray of Atlanta, GA, a daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Tony Zazzu of Yardley, PA, her brother and sister-in-law Charles and Sue McClurg of Florida, a sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Lewis Parker of Yardley, PA, seven grandchildren Lysa, Michelle, Jaime, Bryan, Sarah, Emily, and Lydia, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Hutchinson Chapel of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.  The Rev. Rachel Rhodes, Pastor, will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Birdsboro Cemetery, Birdsboro, PA.

Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9 – 10 AM in the church lounge.
