Warren Kenneth Ferguson

Warren Kenneth Ferguson, age 82, of Yardley, PA, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, on April 23, 1930, Warren lived in Levittown, PA before moving to Yardley 50 years ago. A born entrepreneur, he was involved in numerous business ventures; Warren was a co-owner of Lower Bucks Safety Brake and later owned and operated Allied Office Products in Levittown for 25 years. Following his retirement, Warren, a long-term member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, was very active with the MPC Food Program, where he designed the screening methods and maintained the statistical data for the clients. He was a member of the Yardley Lions Club, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, boating, all-terrain vehicles, and traveling. Warren was a member of the National Guard, and was federalized in 1950, retiring from the US Army in 1951.Son of the late Kenneth Pierre and Dorothy Elizabeth (Warren) Ferguson, and father of the late Jill Diane Talerico-Walley and Wendi Lynn Mershon, he was married to the late Joyce Elaine (Haughton) Ferguson for 54 years. Warren is survived by his wife Anne (Parsons) Ferguson, a daughter and son-in-law, Janis L. and Larry Nader of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, two sons-in-law, Richard Walley of Pemberton, NJ and George Mershon of Yardley, PA, two step-sons, John Oleynick (and Julie) of Yardley and Edward Oleynick (and Krista) of Yardley, three grandchildren, Eric Talerico (and Mary), Mikel Nader (and Lisa) and Brooks Mershon, and three step-grandchildren, Robert, Megan, and Sophie Oleynick.Relatives and friends are invited to attend Warren's funeral service on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Rev. Debbie Heffernan will officiate. Interment will follow in Fountain Lawn Cemetery, 545 Eggerts Crossing Rd, Ewing, NJ 08638.Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM and on Thursday morning from 10-11 AM at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, in the church lounge.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Warren's name be made to the Morrisville Presbyterian Church Food Program, 771 N.
