Wenwei Zou

WenWei Zou, born August 13, 1943 in Wuxi, China, passed away surrounded by family on December 25, 2024 at the age of 81. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, WenWei was known by all to be hard-working and never afraid to try new things. At age 19, he ventured from his family home and apprenticed at various machine factories across China. By the time he returned home at age 27, he had gained enough experience and skill to become chief engineer at the largest factory in his hometown, a position he held for many years. At age 60, WenWei moved to the United States after retiring to spend more time with his family and gain new experiences. In his free time, WenWei appreciated and showed his talent in the arts. He loved playing his erhu and practicing calligraphy and participated in a music club during his later years until his passing. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
