William Robert Beffert

William "Buddy" Robert Beffert, Sr., age 67, of Levittown, Bristol Township, PA, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township, PA. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was a lifelong resident of Bristol Boro and Bristol Township. Prior to his retirement in 2011, Buddy was employed as an electrician with Art Kraft Container in Tullytown for 40 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Delhaas High School, before entering the Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed staying in Upstate Pennsylvania with family and traveling to Las Vegas and Florida. He would often be seen with friends, and family, at his local favorite bar.Son of the late Joseph and Helen (Bux) Beffert, husband of the late Maria E. (Redonggo) Beffert, and brother of the late Josephine Blackburn, James Beffert, Dorothy Litz, and Alice Blackburn, he is survived by 3 children, Pauline Redonggo-Beffert of Trevose, William R. Beffert, Jr. and Joseph J. Beffert, both of Levittown, a sister Barbara Asta of Warrington, 3 brothers Joseph "Butch" Beffert of Venice, FL, Ronald Beffert and Arthur Beffert both of Youngstown, OH, 3 grandchildren Melinda, Chad, and William, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:30 - 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave. Morrisville, PA. Following the calling hours, friends and family are invited to share their stories, anecdotes, and remembrances of Buddy. We will then proceed to Morrisville Cemetery for a committal service.
