William H. Demos Sr.

William H. Demos, age 87, of Morrisville, PA, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a linesman with Public Service and Electric of New Jersey for 41 years. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Demos was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Post # 6176 Morrisville. He was also a member of the Union Fire Company of Morrisville as well as the Fairless Hills Elks Lodge # 2023.Son of the late Harry and Mildred (Hartsough) Demos, husband of the late Rilla (Watson) Demos, father of the late William H. Demos, Jr., and brother of the late Sidney Demos, he is survived by a brother, Robert Demos of NJ, a sister Vivian Clawges of CA, three grandchildren Jason, Tiffany, and Crystal, Demos, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 11:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). Interment of cremated remains will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the funeral chapel.
