William H. KoppelmanAugust 28, 1947 - June 26, 2013 ObituaryWilliam H. Koppelman, age 65 of Morrisville, PA, died on June 26, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Queens, NY, Mr. Koppelman was raised in Glassboro, NJ. and resided in Plainsboro, NJ for 10 years prior to moving to Morrisville in 1984.Bill graduated summa cum laude from Rider University, earning a bachelor's in Business Administration. Bill was an Information Services AVP at Moody's Investors Service (Dun and Bradstreet) for 17 years, building and managing their financial publishing operation. He began his career as a Senior Graphics Engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation and traveled extensively for 10 years, transitioning numerous newspaper operations to computerized typesetting. For many years, Bill was an active member of DECUS (Digital Equipment Corporation Users Society), spearheading various technology sessions. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to bike, fish, golf, hunt and ski. As a Certified In-line skating instructor, Bill enjoyed teaching classes and sharing his passion for the sport. Son of the late William and Elaine (Way) Koppelman, he is survived by his wife, Beverly Mortensen and a brother Glenn Koppelman of Glassboro, NJ. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family.Private memorial services, including a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pediatric Cancer Center, 34th Street and Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104. http://www.chop.edu/service/oncology/.
