William N. Baldwin

William N. Baldwin, age 94, of Lower Makefield Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Baldwin lived in Lower Makefield since 1998. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrical Construction Worker with Long Island Lighting Company for over 30 years. He was a proud veteran of WW II and the Korean War, attaining the rank of Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Mr. Baldwin enjoyed playing full checking ice hockey until the age of 62. He also volunteered with the meals on wheels program and Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, he was an active member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, volunteering at the Ivan's House and the Morrisville Food Center.
Son of the late William N. and Nellie (Durling) Baldwin, and husband of the late Violet B. Baldwin, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law John W. and Debbie Baldwin of Yardley, PA, A stepdaughter Lilli Flaherty of Middletown, NJ, three step grandchildren, three nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 9 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Deborah Heffernan, Interim Associate Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
Friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 PM in the church lounge of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in William's name, may be sent to the Morrisville Food Center, c/o Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067
