William Henry Welch III

Levittown, PA

William Henry Welch III, age 74 of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia.  Born in Camden, NJ, Bill lived in East Windsor, NJ before moving to Levittown 20 years ago.

A proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill was employed as a lead person with General Motors Battery Division in New Brunswick for over 25 years.  He enjoyed going for long walks and traveling, especially to the Jersey shore.  He was very family oriented, and was known as a fantastic grandfather.

Son of the late William Henry Welch, Jr. and Mary (Duld) Welch, and brother of the late Charles D. Welch, he is survived by his children Carl "Tom" Vest of Trenton, Steven (Joyce) Vest of Bensalem, Brian Vest and Jason Welch of Trenton, two brothers Michael John Welch of Philadelphia and Patrick J. Welch of Levittown, and two grandchildren Stephanie Danielle Wilmot and Dylan Matthew Welch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his committal services with military honors on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.
